A free, machine-readable snapshot of the AI tools we cover — 27 entries and growing, with pricing tiers, features, integrations, and profession fit. Licensed CC BY 4.0 so researchers, journalists, and builders can cite and remix it.

What is in the dataset
Each entry is keyed by a stable slug (e.g. jobber, housecall-pro) and describes one AI tool: how it is priced, what it does, who it is for, and where the information came from. The dataset is not a comprehensive index of every AI tool on the market — it is a hand-curated slice covering the categories that use-ai-for.com writes about (home services, legal, accounting, beauty, field service, AI receptionists, and adjacent verticals). New entries are added as those hubs expand.

| sources | string[] | The URLs the entry was compiled from — vendor pricing pages, press releases, product docs. |
| verifiedAt | string (ISO date) | When the entry was last checked against its sources. Older dates mean the entry may have drifted. |
Methodology and honesty note
Pricing is aggregated from each vendor's public list-pricing page. It is a snapshot, not a real-time feed — vendors change tiers and pricing without notice, so treat older verifiedAt dates with proportional skepticism.
Every entry ships its own sources array — the vendor URLs the entry was compiled from — and a verifiedAt ISO date. If a claim in the dataset conflicts with the vendor page today, the vendor page wins; please open an issue on the GitHub repo and we will refresh the entry.
We do not fabricate integrations, feature lists, or profession fit. Where the vendor does not publish a detail, the corresponding field is empty rather than guessed.
License and attribution
The dataset is released under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0). You can copy, redistribute, and adapt the data — for any purpose, including commercial — as long as you credit Use AI For with a link back to use-ai-for.com.
